Canton Basement Bathroom

Basement bathrooms are their own kind of project — drains in the slab, venting, moisture, headroom. This Canton basement bath had all the classic problems: drop ceiling, dated stall, dark paneling-era finishes.
We rebuilt it like an upstairs room: a tiled shower with a glass door and niche, a proper drywall ceiling with recessed lighting, a new vanity and plank flooring. If your basement bath feels like an afterthought, this is what it can be instead.
